Automated news: a timeline

The phenomenon of news automation has appeared in USA in the late 2010. Today, it has reached France, Germany, China, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Maldives, Russia, Belgium or Switzerland. Domains covered are sports, business (quarterly earning stories), politics (elections), unemployment, weather forecasts, traffic, earthquakes, weather reports or consumption (prices index).  French version here
